The first Swiss, signed Mott Brothers, Nassau Street, New York, with highly jewelled right angle lever movement, white enamel dial with roman chapters and subsidiary quarter seconds dial, blued steel hands, (seconds hand replaced), within an 18K gold openface case, 1850's -- 47mm diam.; together with a verge movement with turkish dial, signed George Prior, and a 7-jewel Elgin lady's watch in a 14K gold hunter case (lacking bezel) -- 41mm diam.
