Of cylindrical form on four foliate ball feet headed by scrolling acanthus leaves, with tubular scroll handle with similar foliate decoration and ball thumbpiece, the hinged cover applied with a circular plaque chased with a coat-of-arms, helm and crest within foliate scroll mantling and flanked by the initials WR within a tied laurel border, marked under base and with scratch weight 36=10--7 1/8in. (18.1cm.) high
