Of vase-shaped form, on spreading circular foot with scalloped rim and bands of fluted decoration, the lower body applied with acanthus and grapevines, and above with a band of similar scrolling grapevines on a matted ground, engraved between with a coat-of-arms, helm and crest within acanthus scroll mantling, with acanthus scroll side handles, the high domed cover with similar scalloped rim and applied acanthus and grapevine, below a circular domed pedestal with similar rim and supporting a grapevine finial, marked on body, cover and finial--14in.
