Lot Essay

According to Timothy Kent's The London Spoonmakers 1500-1697, Thomas Cory was apprenticed in 1646 and carried on business in London and at Warminster. He died in 1689. A fine trefid by him, 1683, is in the Holburne of Menstrie Museum, Bath.
