Inscribed and entitled: "In the fall of jiaxu year (1934), [I] obtained a remnant of a roll of old paper and so made a painting of 18 Lohans", signed: Xishan Jishi Pu Ru with two seals: Pu Ru Zhi Yin, Jiu Wang Sun
Colophon in running script (xing shu) by Ye Gongchuo (1881-1968), 11½ x 35 5/8in. (29.2 x 90.5cm.), signed: Xia'an Ye Gongchuo and dated the first month of the thirty-third year (of the Republic, 1944) with four seals
Frontispiece by Ye Gongchao, 10¾ x 37in. (27.3 x 94cm.), inscribed and signed: Gongchao with two seals
Inscription on mounting dedicated to Mr. Li'ang and signed: "Yu Zhaoxing in Hong Kong"
