The four projecting corners carved with a simplified mask formed by two striated bands above a pair of inscribed, double-circle eyes flanking a nose with depressed bridge and inscribed nostrils, the dense, almost completely opaque stone of dark moss-green color suffused with reddish-brown and some opaque inclusions and with a soft, satiny polish--1 7/8 in. (4.8cm.) square, cloth box
