EDO PERIOD (LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY)

Each bowl set on a raised ring foot with everted fluted rim, decorated in underglaze blue and iron red, colored in gilt and green enamels with a spray of flowering chrysanthemum, the rim of stylized lappet pattern, the exterior with flowering chrysanthemum and peony amongst rockwork- 6in. (15.5cm.) in diameter, damages restored (2)
