FIRST AMERICAN EDITION, with early issue points: "was" for "saw" on p. 57, the "Him and Another Man" plate listed as being on p. 88; state "1(2?)" of pagination on folio 155 with the final "5" lacking; the title-leaf a cancel; state 3 of p. 283 (on a stub); the frontispiece in first state; the final leaf blank.
