Law of Liverpool, extremely skilfully rejointed and head and tail of spine renewed, slight rubbing to board edges, light mostly marginal foxing to about half of the plates including lithographic title and to many text leaves, 1/4-inch marginal tear and slight wrinkling to text leaf to pl. 34. Hand-colored additional lithographed title (dated 1840) and 49 hand-colored lithographed plates by M. Gauci after Miss Drake, Descourtilz, W. Griffith, Miss M. A. Mearns, Schouten and R. H.
