(4 1/16 x 3 5/16), cut round and neatly mounted to an album leaf. Regarding a judicial appointment for the territory of New Mexico, Lincoln refers to the interim Attorney General, Titian J. Coffey: "If the Attorney General knows no reason, official or otherwise, to the contrary, let the appointment of Marshal of New Mexico be made as within recommended...."
