In the Charles II style, of shaped oval form, raised on four scroll feet, the sides with lobed panels, the hinged domed cover with crenulated rim below a band of lobed ovals, with oval acanthus calyx supporting a snake loop handle, marked under base--7 7/8in. (20cm.) long
