The hood with three brass ball-and-spire finials on fluted plinths centering pierced fretwork above an arched glazed door opening to a white-painted dial with Roman and Arabic chapter rings enclosing a sweep seconds ring, inscribed "Aaron Willard, Boston," the spandrels embellished with gilt moths surmounted by a chinoiserie scene flanked by fluted colonettes with brass capitals and bases above a waisted case with a crossbanded arched cupboard door centering an oval paterae flanked by fluted quarter columns with brass capitals and bases over a crossbanded box base centering an oval paterae, on bracket feet (small break to fret, dial paint enhanced)--91in. high, 19in. wide,----in. deep
