The well-hollowed vessel carved in high relief with two monkeys balancing on the fruiting, leafy branch which envelopes the sides, their projecting bodies acting as handles as they peer towards the tip of the peach where a bat has alighted, the stone softly polished and with some opaque white and pale brown mottling enhanced by russet staining--7 1/4 in.
