MONTE PEARSON NO-HITTER BALL
An official American League baseball used in the no-hitter game pitched by Monte Pearson of the Yankees against Cleveland on August 27, 1938 at Yankee Stadium, the first no-hitter pitched there. The ball is signed by Pearson on the sweetspot and eight other players including: Gehrig, DiMaggio, Rolfe, Henrich, Gordon and Crosetti. The remaining side panels note the no-hit game, date, score and umpires.
