A BLUE AND WHITE WATER DROPPER

Of square section set on four bracket feet and moulded with a short, round spout, painted on each of the sides in underglaze blue with a peony flower within a line border, and painted on the top with a riverscape reminiscent of one of the eight views of the Hsiao-hsiang, two boats in the foreground surrounded by tall cliffs and ranges of mountains in the distance- 2 3/8 x 2 1/4 x 1 7/8 in. (6 x 5.7 x 4.8 cm.)
