A SILVER TEAPOT, maker's mark of Samuel Kirk, 1830-1846, cylindrical with tucked in base on molded circular foot, the lower body chased alternately with acanthus and stylized leaves, above repousse and chased with continuous bold flowering foliage with matted band below, the foot, molded shoulder and cover decorated with similar, tighter, band, with part decorated spout headed by vertically reeded band, part elaborate foliate loop handle, the hinged partly raised and thinly waisted cover topped by artichoke bud finial--9¼in.
