Each cartouche-form back carved with floral clasps over a padded serpentine seat covered in close-nailed gros and petit point needlework, one depicting Venus discovering Adonis, the second with two Commedia del'Arte figures, the seat decorated with birds and floral work, above a similarly carved serpentine seatrail, on flower-headed cabriole legs, previously decorated, needlework largely reworked (2)
