A LUDWIGSBURG SCALE-MOULDED HOT-MILK JUG AND COVER
Circa 1765, blue crowned interlaced C mark, incised 19/3/... and K
Of baluster form with spiral scroll finial, C-scroll handle headed by a serpent and painted in colours with a loose bouquet and scattered sprigs; together with a Meissen bouquetière, of ogee form on four rocaille-moulded feet, each lobe painted with flowers; an English shell-form inkwell, mid-19th century, with coral handle, inverted shell cover and butterfly finial, the sides enriched in blue and gilt; a Ginori coffee-cup and saucer, mid-19th century, in the Capodimonte style; a Thuringian cup and saucer, both with blue crossed swords and + mark and impressed 3 beside a star above a shield, painted with mythological scenes within a band of blue and gilt beading, the border with blue and gilt cornucopiae spilling flowers; and a pair of Continental blue-ground bud vases
