A GEORGE III SILVER TEA URN, Sheffield, 1778, maker's mark worn, vase shaped, the square pedestal base raised on four ball feet, waisted neck, decorated band to base and shoulder, the serpent's head spout with ivory handle, with applied foliate scroll join, the reverse engraved with armorials, two short foliate joined scroll handles, the detachable partly domed cover topped by acorn finial--cover unmarked--14in.
