A FINE MARKLIN LIVE STEAM PLANT, CIRCA 1900'S
A sheet steal boiler with escape valves, steam discharge valve, glass water guage and tinplate smokestack. Boiler is mounted horizontally on a high tinplate burner which features three circular ventilation ports and the Marklin crest. A steam pipe leads from escape valve to a dual piston apperatus with dual nickel-plated machine cast steel flywheels which is mounted next to the boiler. The Dynamo, a Marklin electric motor that converts the steam energy to electricity is also mounted with the other pieces on the tinplate base with flared sides. The original paper directions for the use of the plant is included with the lot--21½ x 21½ in.
