A RARE TINPLATE MARKLIN FERRIS WHEEL, CIRCA 1890'S
The center is composed of scrolled wire flanking and stained glass which form a star pattern. There are six gondolas each containing two figures with matching flags. The toy is driven by a hand crank that sets the wheel in motion and activates a music box housed within the ticket booth. The ferris wheel is stamped on the bottom with the Marklin logo--Height: 21 in.
