Of diamond shape decorated in iro-e takamaki-e on grounds of kinji, silver and gold, red and togidashi with four different panels of birds and flowers, the borders at the edges of the cases rendered in a checkerboard pattern of cut gold and the chevron-form interior cases nashiji; fitted with a lacquer kagamibuta netsuke lacquered in gold and red with a fish and waterweeds and gilt metal bead ojime- 3 5/8 in. (9.3 cm.) high, minor losses and minute chips at edges, some surface scratches
