engraving and drypoint in deep gray, circa 1470's, on laid paper, a very good early impression of the first state (of three), trimmed to or just inside the borderline at right, just into the fin at bottom left, the staff at left and just above the trident at top, an old vertical central fold, partially broken through and backed, other skillful repairs, pale staining
