On the verso of the full length view of the "Large Glass", the inscription reads: Taken in home of Katherine Dryer - work by Marcel Duchamp. The glass was broken and he left it as it had been -.
Katherine Dreyer had been, along with Duchamp, a founder of the Dada group, Societé Anonyme.
