QIANLONG
The compressed body raised on three mask-and-paw supports and carved in low relief around the sides with taotie masks centered on notched flanges also used to separate the masks from foliate scroll panels beneath each dragon and loose ring handle, the domed cover similarly decorated below a hollowed circular knop carved and pierced as a coiled dragon, the whole raised on a pale grayish-white jade, trefoil stand pierced and carved with scolling foliage, each ruyi-shaped arm radiating outwards from a central florette--7 7/8in. (20cm.) across handles
