Of tall, tapering form, carved in deep relief on one side with Shoulao and an attendant standing beneath a pine tree on a mountain path, the reverse carved with a crane and a recumbent deer on a ledge of the mountain face, the pale grayish-white stone softly polished and with some opaque white and dark gray mottling and added russet coloring--7 3/4in.
