Of thin sheet gold, with a central medallion with a facing head of Dionysos, a crown of ivy and berries in his long curly hair, the chain composed of figure-eight links, with pierced disc terminals originally set with glass, pearl or stone, 1 1/4in. (3.2cm.) diam. for the medallion
