With its serpentine crest with deep volute-carved ears, slightly fanning comb, large D-shaped saddle seat and fine Philadelphia turnings, this comb-back windsor armchair combines the most desirable characteristics of its type. Another notable feature which distinguishes this chair is the undercarriage with Queen Anne medial stretcher, baluster and cylinder-turned legs and full blunt-arrow feet both in front and in back.
