Of slightly tapering cylindrical form, painted in blue, green and yellow with stylized peacock feathers, the underside inscribed in red with Sackler number 82.3.11 (chips to mouth and footrim, minor glaze flaws, test drill holes to underside)--12¼in. (31.2cm.) high

old with thermoluminescence certificate 381s57 dated January 1986 from the Research Laboratory for Archaeology and the History of Art, Oxford University, stating that the sample tested was last fired between 330 and 520 years ago (1466-1656).
