In the manner of Jean-Henri Riesener, with pierced three-quarter galleried inset rectangular white and grey veined marble top above three panelled frieze drawers fitted with foliate-cast encadrements, the central drawer enclosing a leather-lined slide and compartment for writing utensils, on octagonal tapering legs joined by two incurved rectangular crossbanded undertiers within grillework and ending in toupie sabots (restorations)-30in. (76.5cm.) high, 38½in. (97.5cm.) wide, 17¼in. (44cm.) deep
