AN INCISED CELADON SMALL BOTTLE AND STOPPER
KORYO DYNASTY (12TH CENTURY)

The small oil bottle of flattened globular form with waisted neck supporting a high, galleried rim and fitted with a compressed, bud-form stopper, the body incised with two large and two smaller confronted peony blossoms and lush leaves, the stopper incised with short, parallel curved lines, the bottle covered overall with a greyish green celadon glaze- including stopper 2 5/8 in. (6.6 cm.) high
