"I received your letter, while I was on a visit, to one of my children in the City of Cincinnatti, or I would have attended to you request sooner, but hope it will not [have] arrived too late, for the purpose you desire it for. Accept, Sir, my best wishes for your health, & happiness...."

Autograph letters of W.H. Harrison's widow, Anna, are uncommon, and her free franks are more so, although she held the franking privilege from September 1841 to February 1864.
