With the Madonna cradling the Child and holding both feet with her right hand, her veil falling across her breast, His left hand grasping the Madonna's left thumb, the Madonna looking slightly downwards to sinister, with brass tag bearing inscription 'JACOPO DELLA QUERCIA' (chips, losses to polychroming)-33in.
