VENETIAN, LATE 16TH/EARLY 17TH CENTURY, AFTER NICOLO ROCCATAGLIATA
One trumpeting and the other playing a violin, each standing putto naked except for a swag across the chest and loins (joints and repairs at the ankles)-6in. (15.5cm.) high, mounted on antico giallo bases, one brown patina with thick black lacquer, the other greenish brown with thick black lacquer (2)
