With bird finial, crabstock spout and handle, the globular body raised on lion mask and paw feet, sprigged with a scrolling, trailing, flowering vine and mottled allover in tortoiseshell glazes, traces of gilding, Jacobs Collection no. 459 (some restoration to spout and finial) --4½in. (11.5cm.) high
