A LEEDS POTTERY CREAMWARE CYLINDRICAL TEAPOT AND COVER
CIRCA 1775, INCISED X MARK

With flower finial, reed spout and entwined reeded handle with applied flowerhead terminal, enamelled in puce, lavender, iron-red and green with alternating verticle panels of a flower sprig and of fruit reserved on a lavendar ground, Jacobs Collection no. 286 (crack and restoration to top rim, chip and restoration to tip of spout, rim chip to cover restored, finial restored)--4 3/8in. (11cm.) high
