Each finely painted in vivid European colours with a three-masted gaff-rigged ship at full sail on a turquoise sea flying the Dutch colours, a skiff alongside also with a Dutch flag, one ship with a gilt bird on its stern and the other with a fleur-de-lys (one with rim line)--8¼in. (21cm.) (2)
