A FAMILLE ROSE EUROPEAN SUBJECT EROTIC PUNCHBOWL

One side with a Bacchanalian picnic scene showing European ladies and gentlemen drinking and courting, three of them nude, one with a stocking falling around her ankle, the other side with Chinese ladies and boys playing music under the trees, the interior with a large bamboo and rosevine border above a central flower spray (rim area on back burnt in the firing)--13¾in. (35cm.) diam.
