A CHINESE COROMANDEL LACQUER TWELVE-LEAF SCREEN depicting events from the life of Grand Dame Tan and her son Lord Fu Chu Wong, decorated with courtly figures in temples and pagodas on an aubergine ground with polychrome enrichments, within a border incised with dragons and an outer border with cooking utensils, baskets of flowers, elephants, moonstones, crabs and mythical beasts, the reverse with a dedicatory insription dated 1679, Kangxi, circa 1679
