Each of baluster form on spreading base cast and chased with foliate scroll and rocaille, the lower body chased with vertical acanthus scrolls and alternating palmettes on a matted ground, chased above with rocaille and foliage, the high domed covers applied with vertical flutes, one pierced with foliate scroll and one blind, with feather-clad ball finials, the sides engraved with a coat-of-arms within a foliate scroll and rocaille cartouche, marked under bases and on covers--6 7/8in.(17.5cm.) high
