Of urn form on spreading rocaille foot chased with shells and acanthus scrolls, the body chased with elaborate rocaille scrolls and shells with applied cartouches above formed of dragons and sylized masks amid rocaille and grapevine, all on a matted ground, with leaf-clad lobed multi-scroll handles issuing from acanthus, the domed cover chased with similar foliate scrolls and rocaille enclosing dragonheads and panels of fish-scale and surmounted by a baluster leaf-clad berry bunch finial, the cartouches engraved with coat-of-arms, marked under base and on cover--13½in.(34.2cm.) high
