TWO SILVER MUGS, late 19th century, the first, maker's mark of Gorham, tapering cylindrical on spreading circular die rolled rim foot, the body chased with flowerheads on finely matted ground centering circular cartouche, engraved Eliza Greenwood, 1867, within geometric border, with tubular auricular anthemion capped handle--4in. (10.1cm.) high, 5.5oz.; the second, maker's mark of Knowles, cylindrical on molded reeded foot, the sides bright cut with fruited branches and engraved W.C. Sayre From Grandmother, below reeded band, with tubular harp form handle--3in. (7.62cm.) high, 3.5oz. (2)
