AN EDWARDIAN SILVER FOUR PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, London, 1901, maker's mark of Wakely & Wheeler, comprising baluster coffee pot, teapot, two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each inverted pear shaped on spreading circular foot chased with rocaille, lower body chased with alternate swirled beads, trailing fruit and foliate flutes, above with floral clusters and beads enclosed by stylized acanthus, with applied gadrooned rims, the pots with decorated partly fluted spout, wood scroll handle, the hinged, part decorated, molded domed cover topped by wood baluster finial--the coffee pot 10¼in. (26cm.) high, gross weight 74.5oz. (4)
