Hennell, marks worn, the second pair, chased with flowering foliage centering scroll enclosed vacant cartouche--1753, D. Mowden; three matching circular salts, (one larger), plain, with rope twist rim--1774, 1775, and 1782, T. Shepherd--average diameter 2½in. (6.35cm.), together with four trencher salts--1936, JHS--3in. (7.6cm.) long; and two butter shells on three stylized fish form supports--marks illegible--4in. (10.1cm.) long, 31oz. (13)
