A GERMAN SILVER PLATED VASE, maker's mark of W.M.F., circa 1906, vase form with watery finish, with spreading base, one side applied with boy seated on a branch just having caught a fish, which the applied merman is unhooking (fishing pole and line lacking), amid bulrushes, with wavy rim--11½in. (29.2cm.) high
