A GEORGE VI FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON TWO HANDLED TRAY, maker's mark of Nayler Brothers, London, 1947, comprising teapot, coffee pot, squat spouted hot water jug, two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each bowed rectangular with canted corners, on molded short base, the shoulder engraved with foliate scrolls within strapwork, with applied gadrooned rim, the pots with sloping collar, panelled scroll spout, harp form bone handle, the partly raised hinged cover topped by bone oblong finial--the coffee pot 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high, the tray with conforming border, with two upcurved part bone handles--length over handles 177oz. (6)
