FLETA
A 1944 IGNACIO FLETA ARCHTOP ACOUSTIC GUITAR IN A SUNBURST FINISH.
Single cutaway mahogany body with sycamore bindings, carved spruce top with f holes and circular soundhole, nineteen fret bound ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays, wooden bridge and metal tailpiece. Label with Ignacio Fleta Barcelona 1944 no. 8, and Ignacio Fleta stamped inside the body into the wood. With hardshell contoured case.
Accompanied by a letter from Gabriel Fleta stating that" It was quite emotional to remember this instrument which strangely enough we followed as children with great interest and enthusiasm"
and outlining the history of the instrument with a photocopy of Ignacio Fleta's own ledger documenting this guitar as "Guitarra Jaz (sic) no.8, modelo especial".

This is a historically important and unique instrument by one of the greatest European classical luthiers.
