A CORAL-GROUND BOWL, DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD, the deep sides flaring towards the rim decorated with an allover pattern of foliate scroll comprised of a top row of peony blossoms and lower row of lotus blossoms, all borne on conjoined leafy tendrils forming arabesques and finely penciled in coral on white reserved against the coral ground--5 in. diam.
