A SAXON (GLÜCKSBERG) ENGRAVED GOBLET and a cover, the thistle-shaped bowl decorated with a woman seated on a balustrade holding a heart inscribed with the number 3, flanked by trees and scrolling flowering foliage, the reverse with an inscription, the lower part cut with arch, flute and facet ornament, on a faceted knopped and inverted baluster stem above a conical folded foot, the domed cover with panels of lunar and facet cutting and with faceted finial, circa 1740
