A PAIR OF RUSSIAN NEO-CLASSIC PARCEL-GILT AND WHITE-PAINTED ARMCHAIRS CIRCA 1820

Each with rectangular padded back with panelled overscroll crest rail carved with scrolling foliage, with bold acanthus-carved padded voluted arms and seat above a similarly carved bowed seat rail, on circular tapering fluted legs headed by paterae and ending in ball toes, upholstered in ivory trellis silk (redecorated) (2)
